A fugitive on the run in the US hated the mugshot police were using of him so much, he took a more flattering selfie and sent it to police to use.
Donald “Chip” Pugh, a suspect wanted in connection with a series of arson and vandalism investigations sent police in Ohio, US a new photo saying “Here is a better photo that one is terrible”.
The Ohio police had originally posted the photo to their Facebook page, asking for help to locate Mr. Pugh. After receiving the new photo, police said “We thank him for being helpful, but now we would appreciate it if he would come to speak to us at the [Lima Police Department] about his charges.”
Not happy with leaving it there, Mr. Pugh had to audacity to go on a local radio station and explain his actions: “They put a picture out that made me look like I was a Thundercat… or James Brown on the run. I can’t do that.”
Mr. Pugh is currently still at large.
