Giovanni Gambino, the son of an infamous New York mobster has warned ISIS that the city is under their protection and they don’t play by the rules.

Sicilian Mafia

In the wake of the Paris Attacks, Giovanni Gambino, the son of mob boss John Gambino, has told Reuters how the modern crime families are guarding against Islamic extremism.

According to Giovanni, Islamic extremists fear the Sicilian Mafia, which has stopped underground terror cells from gaining a foothold in New York.

“The world is dangerous today, but people living in New York neighbourhoods with Sicilian connections should feel safe. We make sure our friends and families are protected from extremists and terrorists, especially the brutal, psychopathic organization that calls itself the Islamic State,” the Sicilian-born Gambino said.

According to Gambino, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Homeland security are “limited” in their power and reach, acting too late and lacking “human intelligence”. Giovanni argues that the street knowledge of the mob trumps the intelligence that even cutting edge technology and surveillance can gather.
