An elderly Polish couple, both in their late 70s, partied the night away at the trendy Fabric nightclub in London until 5am, it emerged today.
The sprightly pair — one on crutches — turned up at the Fabric nightclub on Sunday for the weekly underground house and techno party called WetYourSelf.
They had flown over from Warsaw to visit their daughter in Watford, before heading into Farringdon after reading a rave review about Fabric in a newspaper back in Poland.
DJ and promoter Jacob Hansen said: “I was downstairs just opening and I saw her on her crutches going slowly down the stairs. I thought they were lost. They didn’t speak English really. I spoke to the people on the door and they said they had tickets.
“I ran down to welcome them to the club, I said, ‘It’s amazing you’re here’, and gave them a drink. They had two tequila shots and she gave me a high five.”

The couple told how they had booked the tickets online, and planned to get an early underground train back to Watford at 6am.
Initially they were led to the VIP area and offered free drinks for the evening, but then Mr Hansen lost them – only to find they had gone downstairs to join the crowds raving to techno.
“She was really slow so he went a bit more into the dancefloor and got some dances with the young girls,” Mr Hansen told the Evening Standard. “At 5am they came and said they’d like to leave so we got them a taxi.
“They were really happy, they loved the crowd. In ten years of doing this every Sunday it’s the best experience I’ve had – it’s just amazing.”
